U.S. Stock Market Update

As the opening of U.S. stock markets approaches, Meta Platforms Inc. (META) is showing an impressive pre-market gain of 17.7%, while Deckers Outdoor Corp. (DECK) follows closely behind with a 9.5% increase.

Other notable gainers include Clorox Co. (CLX), Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), and Snap Inc. (SNAP), all boasting gains of at least 6%. Skechers USA Inc. Cl A (SKX) and Atlassian Corp. Cl A (TEAM), however, are experiencing early declines, with drops of 10.1% and 8.4% respectively.

Looking at the futures market, the S&P 500 shows a promising start with a 0.67% increase, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rise by 0.11%. On the other hand, Cboe Volatility Index futures are down by 3.29%.

In the commodities market, Brent crude oil futures increase by 0.20%, and gold futures see a slight uptick of 0.08%. The price of Bitcoin also rises by 0.21% to reach $43,238.

Meanwhile, the 10-Year Treasury yield experiences a decline, falling to 3.875%.

Recapping the previous trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow showed positive performance, with gains of 1.25% and 0.97% respectively. Asian stocks had mixed results overnight, as Japan's NIKKEI 225 Index increased by 0.41%, while China's Shanghai Composite Index decreased by 1.46%.

In European markets, stocks are on the rise, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index increasing by 0.68% and the FTSE 100 Index up by 0.41% from the previous close.
