Other stocks in Europe followed suit, with France's CAC 40 decreasing by 0.2% and Germany's DAX dropping by 0.2%.

Crude Oil Prices See Marginal Increases

In the commodities market, Brent crude oil showed a modest climb of 0.8%, reaching $74.86 a barrel, while WTI crude gained 0.7%, settling at $69.89 a barrel.

Yields on Bonds Experience Some Variations

The German 10-year Bund yield rose marginally by 1 basis point, reaching 2.215% from 2.201%. Conversely, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury climbed by 5 basis points to 4.159% from 4.109%. It is crucial to note that bond prices and yields generally move inversely.
